Forbes Presents Dr. Mahtani With Prestigious Award

The Forbes-FIN philanthropy and leadership award was recently completed in Zambia. It is one of the biggest and highly regarded business events in Africa. Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani is a top-rated business manager and philanthropist in Zambia. He is known for his several successful businesses as well as philanthropist activities in Zambia as well as Africa. He is the owner of top companies in Zambia, Africa, Malawi including Mahtani Group of Companies and Finsbury Investments. Dr. Rajan Mahtani was invited in the Foreign Investment Network (FIN) philanthropy and leadership roundtable conference as a honorary speaker and discussed about the significance of leadership in healthcare. The FIN conference was held online to comply with the Covid-19 norms. However, this did not dampen the spirit of the event which saw participation from several different personalities, businesses, and notable names from across African business, corporate, and philanthropy.

The FIN philanthropy event was further highlighted with the addition of the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ award ceremony. The award ceremony is conducted by Forbes which is among the top business magazines across the globes. The awards highlight and reward leading lights in the field of business and philanthropy. The process of selecting the awardees is also rigorous and transparent. The process comprises of months of verification process and background checks. This is followed by interviews and discussions with the potential awardees and understanding their long-term view point on philanthropy as a means to achieve long-term empowerment across Africa. Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, apart from being an honorary speaker at the FIN event, was also selected for one of the awards. Forbes recognized the contributions of Dr. Rajan Mahtani towards redefining the banking sector of Zambia and he was conferred with the Forbes ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year’ award 2021. Dr. Rajan Mahtani received this award for his philanthropic and charitable contributions. Some of these contributions include Prison Fellowship Zambia and Stephen Malama award and scholarship for top law graduates in Zambia.
